Overview:

 

Our client had issues with water ingress into their cold store facility. Gentip were asked to provide a condition report along with recommendations to resolve the problems.

During our site survey we identified multiple issues with the roof along with some structural defects to the adjacent roof, cladding, and structural bracing. We noticed there were a lot of loose cladding sheets and flashings that were at risk of blowing off. We immediately made these safe until they were repaired.

We appointed a structural engineer who agreed with our findings and solution to rectify.

  • Over cladding of existing roof including all perimeter detailing with a 25-year warranty
  • New PVC lined gutter system with a 25-year warranty
  • New safety line system for roof access
  • Structural steel works
  • Corrosion treatment and decoration
  • Gutter coatings with 20-year warranty
  • Silicone sprayed coatings

Water ingress was cured as well as reassurance the defective cladding and structural elements were repaired and left in a safe condition.
